Make Xrisi Your Homepage Firefox for any operating system Changing your home page in Firefox is easy. Just follow these steps: 1. Browse normally to the web page you want as your home page. 2. Pull down the "Tools" menu of Firefox. 3. Select "Options." 4. Click on the "General" tab, if it is not the first to appear. 5. You'll see the "Home Page" box at the top. 6. Click the "Use Current Page" button in that box. 7. Click "OK." 8. Close and open Firefox. You should see your new home page. Internet Explorer for Windows 1. Browse normally to the web page you want as your home page. 2. Pull down the "Tools" menu of Internet Explorer. 3. Select "Internet Options." 4. The "General" tab appears. 5. You'll see the "Home page" box at the top. 6. Click the "Use Current" button in that box. 7. Click "OK." 8. Close and open Internet Explorer. You should see your new home page. Safari for MacOS X Changing your home page in Safari isn't tough either: 1. Browse normally to the web page you want as your home page. 2. Pull down the "Safari" menu. 3. Select "Preferences." 4. Click on the "General" tab. 5. Note the "Home page:" field and the "Set to Current Page" button beneath it. 6. Click "Set to Current Page." 7. Click the red "close" button in the upper left corner of the preferences dialog. 8. Close and open Safari. You should see your new home page. Opera Opera changes the home page in pretty much the same way as the rest: 1. Browse normally to the web page you want as your home page. 2. Pull down the "Tools" menu. 3. Select "Preferences..." 4. The "Preferences" dialog box appears. Click on the "General" tab. 5. Note the "Home page" field and the "Use Current" button to the right of it. 6. Click "Use Current." 7. Click "OK." Special Opera note: by default, Opera doesn't load your home page when you start it up. Opera comes to the same pages you were looking at when you shut down your computer last. The home page is loaded only if Opera crashes or you close all of your Opera windows intentionally before restarting. If you wish to change this behavior, change the selection in the "Startup" menu at the top of the "General" tab to "Start with home page."
